I haven’t been able to access a certain website (facebook) for the past few days, I am just getting a ‘Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage’ message, whereas I have had no problem accessing any and every other website from the same laptop.
I checked in the ‘security history’ of my Norton Internet Security, and found that around the same time as I started experiencing problems with accessing the website I had an info message (in the ‘firewall – network and connections’ category) saying,
‘IP address has disappeared from adapter Intel(R) wireless WiFi link 4965AGN and is no longer being protected’
Is it likely that the two problems are linked? How would I be able to make the IP address re-appear?
